Can imagine the excitement writing the blog for Derek and Shirley when I took their wedding photos.I reckon they are the most cheerful and stress free couple that I have ever met. What ever the situation, they always smiling and laughing, which makes me comfortable taking their photos.
Armed with my 2 trusted Nikon cameras and accompanied with Anne Lioe, we started the day by capturing the door game and tea ceremony. Then we moved on to the wedding ceremony that took place in Banjo Paterson Cottage, one of my favourite place for wedding.
This place is quite secluded, far from crowd and sits next to a small bay where you can see small boats around the area. I like how Derek and Shirley arranged small details starting from the guests table allocation chart, tables decoration and not to mention the cupcakes for the wedding cake yeayyy….
I really can feel the couple’s warmth towards the guests as they greeted each guest personally. No formalities in this wedding such as first dance, they just mingled around and enjoyed the lunch together. Ended the party with bouquet toss, we strolled down to the waterfront area around the place to take some photos. I consider we are pretty lucky with the blue sky and sunny weather as it was “rainy” season in Sydney. Check out some of the photos that we took, they look absolutely stunning. Of course thanks to the weather and the newly wed couple

Once again congratulation to Derek and Shirley, may you live happily ever after together.
