Hoa & Kelly’s wedding happened on a most glorious day back in November. One of a kind couple where they booked me even without seeing me before hand! I was even more impressed when Kelly was recommending us to her friends getting married and putting a good words, all the time without a single meeting with us.

Hoa + Kelly enjoyed dining out together (they are particularly into Thai food), having ice cream at their fave ice cream store in Newtown during summer nights. They confessed that they are quite a boring couple, always visit the same place over and over again (but aren’t we all?), but I can see that they enjoy each other’s company, and that’s what’s important . Hoa flew Kelly down to Melbourne for a romantic holiday and proposed to her there.

They are bound to be best friends for life, and witnessing their emotional garden ceremony was the truest evidence of their feeling for each other, and I’m so glad to be part of their journey!

Hoa & Kelly, it’s been very nice to have known you both. Thank you for being a great couple to us, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

I’ve just completed my last wedding of the year…and I’m so glad it’s Michael & Amy’s wedding!! I have much to share from this wedding, which I’m gonna do in the full blog post and also in my editorial weekly note. Share some love!!

When I first met Duy & Aelina, immediately I wished they booked me as their wedding photographer. Aelina is such caring person, after they made decision to booked me, she brought my boys (Jamie & Ryan) some chocolates. After our e-session, she didn’t forget to bring us more delicious chocolates as thank you gifts – a much needed energy boost after photo session!

They also invited me and my husband (Wiki) to their family engagement dinner – which is the first of such invite from years being in the wedding industry. I would love to attend, but due to our travel, we happened to be overseas. I have to say I’m very dissapointed to turn down the invitation!

I’m really grateful for having couple like them – it’s truly not about the gifts, but the gesture and the attention that counts. They made us feel like family, right from the start. How could I not love this couple??:)

Our colourful e-session took place at Balmoral Beach, and Bradley Head on one gorgeous afternoon

Come back on the first week of December for their wedding pics..I’m super excited!!

Andrew & Alicia came from a long line of referral, which means I’ll get to see familiar faces in their wedding!

What I clearly remember from their e-session that they kept us entertained, as they kept bickering to each other. Andrew was the one doing the most bickering, but Alicia was one equal sparring partner..haha..I could imagine we’re gonna have heaps of fun on their wedding day!!

They knew each other from school, but they weren’t high school sweetheart until years later…

Andrew is an extremely tall guy..so I’ve got to remember to bring my *might weapon* (as quoted by one of my other couple)…a STOOL!! ^_^

“I’m so glad we chose you as our photographer” – those are the words Melissa said when I bid my goodbye at the end of the reception.

What could be a better way to end my first wedding of the year! I’m so glad we had Scott & Melissa as our couple as well, they are sweet and kind spirits, always appreciative, and cooperative in whatever we asked them to do.

In the morning, Aswin and Anne did an awesome job taking shots of boys getting ready – while I had the girls all by myself..Melissa is one stunning bride, and she also has two drop-dead gorgeous sisters..it was a bliss taking photo of the pretty girls…I wish I had more time!

They tied the knot in St Brigid’s Parish in Marrickville, quite sentimental as it was where Melissa’s parents also got married and later in the afternoon they had their reception in the elegant QVB Tea Room (one of my favourite venues!)

We didn’t have much time for location shoot, it was a bit of a rush, but then we had the opportunity to shoot inside QVB, which is great as QVB has beautiful backdrops to shoot.

Congratulations Scott & Melissa from all of us the team..we had a great time…all the best for your new life together!
